FiliTV Play Back problems:
I am having skipping, pausing or sputtering during playback.
This can be caused by many things such as your computer processing power and speed, your network speed and possible flash configuration settings. First run the speed test and see what your connection speed is. A low number such as between 200-800 kbps will require you to wait until everything has downloaded to view an un-interupted playback. If you feel your network transfer speed is sufficient for streaming, then please try setting the "Flash Available Local Storage" to a higher amount.

How do I set up the Flash Available Local Storage.
Follow these steps to set the Flash Local Storage.
1. Right click on the video playback screen and select settings.


2. Adjust the slider to the right to allow more FiliTV to cache more to your computer for smoother playback.

Network/User name and Password:
I forgot my username and/or password. How do I log back into the site?
If you forgot your username or password, you can retrieve it here.

If you think you signed up with an alternate email address, then you may want to enter that email address into our "Forgot Login Information" form. If that doesn't help, try to Sign Up again or contact FiliTV support at support@filitv.com

How do I change my password?

1. Log in with your username and current password.
2. Click the "My TV Network Profile" link in the upper left hand corner.
3. Under "Account Information", enter your new password.
4. Click the "Update" button.

Can I change my FiliTV Network/user name?

1. Log in with your username and current password.
2. Click the "My TV Network Profile" link in the upper left hand corner.
3. Under "Account Information", enter your new Network/user name.
4. Click the "Update" button.

How do I change the email address tied to my FiliTV Network/user name?

1. Log in with your user name and password.
2. Click the "My TV Network Profile" link in the upper left hand corner.
3. Under "Account Information", type your new email address into the Email Address field.
4. Click the "Update" button.
5. Check to see if you've received an email from FiliTV in the account you entered. (If you don't see it after several minutes, check your Spam folder to see if it was filtered out of your main Inbox.)
6. Once you've opened the email, click the included link to verify the new email address. You will be brought to a page that says, "Your email has been confirmed."

I tried to recover my username, but the email I received was blank. What does this mean?
You should never recieve an email without a username, please contact FiliTV and report this issue. Provide your Network/User name. It's possible that your account registration didn't complete properly.

Broadcaster Account:
How long/large can my video be?

There are two ways to upload your video: by using our Single File Uploader and the FiliTV Uploader. Depending on which upload method you choose, your videos can be up to 100MB or up to 1GB.

Videos uploaded through FiliTV's Single File Uploader have to be under the 100MB file size limit. The longer the video is, the more compression will be required to fit it into that size. For that reason, most videos on FiliTV are under five minutes long and there is a 10-minute length limit for all videos.

You can compress your video using movie editors, like Windows MovieMaker or Apple iMovie. Programs like these allow you to edit your videos, add soundtracks, and compress file sizes.

Can I upload videos that are longer than 10 minutes?
Yes you can.

Does my TV network logo appear during my programs?
Yes, if you wish. It will appear at the bottom right hand corner.

1. Log in with your username and password.
2. Click the "My TV Network Profile" link in the upper left corner.
3. Click the "Close My Account" link under "Network Account Settings".
4. Enter the reason you're closing the account, and your password, then click the "Delete My Account" button.

If you'd only like to unsubscribe from our email lists, go to "My TV Network Profile" > "Network Account Settings" > "Email Preferences." Uncheck the boxes next to any emails you don't want to receive and click the "Save Email Options" button.

Why was my account suspended?
Your account was suspended due to repeated or severe violation of our Terms of Use (http://www.FiliTV.com/t/terms.php). Users with suspended or terminated accounts are prohibited from creating new accounts or accessing FiliTV’s community features.

Viewer Account:
Do I need to have a viewer account?
No. There is no account required to watch FiliTV. FiliTV is free for all viewers!

Flash Technology and Security:
I have concerns about Malware. Should I be.
FiliTV takes many steps to safe gaurd your computer and technology from any malware. FiliTV utilizes the high-end technology that is only available using Adobe Flash player. Some of the FiliTV content and advertisments are in the Adobe Flash file formats and this format has been found to have security holes. While this issue is not easily available to remedy, FiliTV and its broadcasters are dedicated to makeing sure that all content that is delivered to you is safe.
